Joe Fortin Thank you!
Not a teacher, a student at community college (went back for re-training for a new career).
jazzie ... and what is a community college?
Joe Fortin In Canada (and specifically the province of Ontario), there are primary two different streams of post-secondary education: College and University.
Typically Colleges (sometimes referred to as Community Colleges) offer one, two, and three year diplomas. The programs are usually more practical / hands-on focus like construction, nursing, and (in my case) IT.
Universities are three years or longer and end in a degree (there are some legal differences on diplomas and degrees that I really don't understand...). University programs tend to be more theoretical and end in professions like doctor, engineer, or teacher.
jazzie Are you a teacher? I wish you a good start!
