Eva Thank you, Magda! The ones of your trip (? I guess) are certainly nicer! :))
Magda Korzewska You are too nice to me :) thanks. I realy like your pic. I love Italy, Torino looks very tempting on your photo.
Eva Torino is really a beatiful city, modest (in a good way) compared to Milano or Rome, but very pleasant to live anyway.
Magda Korzewska This is great recommendation :)
Satoshi T Nice harmony between mountain and city Eva!
Eva Thank you, Satoshi! Your positive comment must be all dedicated to the city itself :)
Satoshi T btw, what is huge bright bottle(?) right side. green house of botanical garden?
Eva Huge bright bottle? (Sorry, I've seen the comment only today!)
Satoshi T Yes, what is a shine white building on the middle of right side? - looks like a bottle lieing- :)
Eva
AHAHAHAHAHAHA, that's a terrible thing to say, Satoshi! ;))
It's Gran Madre di Dio, one of the most important churches in Turin. It was made by Savoia trying to resemble the Rome's Pantheon. Ok, maybe they have completely failed in their trying! XD
Satoshi T No no Eva , Gran Madre di Dio is on the left side :) I guess it looks like Rome's Pantheon. Probably what I call "bright bottle" is Biblioteca del Centro Traumatologico ...
Eva You're right: you said "right" not left. I think the one that you mean it's just a winter "balloon" in order to play tennis during winter. Like this tennisitaliano.it/moduli/artic...
Satoshi T Ah, That's ballon for playing tennis under all weather! The great mystery of Turin has been solved :D Thank you Eva!
craig A wonderful view! I love the mix of what appears to be old and new buildings!
Eva The square was completed and restored by Napoleone, the big curch behind it a bit later and the "new" buildings are not that new (ending XIX century) but simply restored, with some exception like the flat roof that you can see in the front. :) happy you like it!
Magda Korzewska Nice panorama
