The tiny sculpture of a finger is a piece of art referring to the times when it was forbidden to distillate Absinthe in Switzerland, but behind closed blinds people at the Travers valley continued doing it. I guess that they communicated with very discrete signs with people willing to buy from their product. There are several blinds holding fingers all over Môtiers, but someone gave this one a plaster, which I liked especially much! #art-motiers #finger #sculture
