tigg Looks like very good rolling stock. Lovely when they are empty!

Satoshi T It is lightweight and energy conserved rolling stock. and keep clean. I think Japanese people will be more happy if they don't go to work all at once. Thank you @tigg !

120mr I'm thrilled! Trains are everywhere :)

Satoshi T If you look left, more thrill! I will tookapic of left side of it. Thank you @120mr !

120mr :D I'll be waiting for more trains, @Satoshi

egzist I love these stories of your photos. I can always learn something interesting. Nice pic and lovely train!

Satoshi T I am longing to Europian trains, but this time I review my feet. so FYI: Most of Japanese railway is Narrow gauge. They has only 1067mm :) like a rural mountain railway! Thank you @egzist and @vera .

egzist Wow! I didn't know that. I found in Wiki that we have 1435mm so the difference is quite big. I remember old times (80') when a was going to Russia for a trip and there was a wheel change on the border - for the russian 1520mm - with crane I think and everybody was inside train :)

Satoshi T I hear Poland developed flexible bogie to resolve this problem. I watch this great video - it included your experience on the border - youtube.com/watch?v=-pHExOfYkY... :)

WK Fan It's hard to believe that all your theme-door photos are so awesome and very creative. I wish I can learn from you by keep viewing your collection!!

Satoshi T I think your "Smartphone everywhere" is very similar view inside of train in my place. Thank you for your kind words and viewing my collection @W.K. !

Rohini I saw the pic and immediately knew its yours @Satoshi. Great pic and text.

Satoshi T Thank you for checking my pic and giving me kind words though you look so busy these days! Thank you @Rohini !

Jesse Lind HOW ARE YOU SO GOOD? I love literally every photo you take soooooo much!

Satoshi T THAAANK YOU @Jesse :D :D!

Aaaa Do you like train stations a lot?

Satoshi T Indeed! and I like European railway rather than Japan. Thank you @Aaaa !

myszkin One of many things I love about Japan - trains. I think that I could spend the whole week just jumping from one to another, eating at the stations and going through that country. PS. I like this shot!

Satoshi T It is very nice dream I think! In Tokyo, subway come every 3 minutes "Timetable" :) I think you will enjoy to stay Japan because you like Japanese food even natto :) Thank you very much @myszkin !

myszkin I liked it the first time, I will love it the second :) You have the best subway in the world.

Satoshi T Thank you for liking, and welcome to the second @myszkin !

Lauren Huston Trains! *happy dance*
Edit: on a more related note, I am happy to know that while Melbourne does experience overcrowding, we don't (yet) need trains like this!

Satoshi T it is good for this kind of ingenuity, I think it is better not so crowded :) I will introduce trains in my city. Thank you @Lauren !
