The majesty of a seabird

A seagull, really. His wings and feathers look so cool here! I actually had a nice interaction after this too. I had gone up to the deck to take some photos of this bird chillin' here when a guy walked over with his Nikon and snapped some photos of him as I was heading off. I said hello and asked if he wanted me to get the bird to open his wings again and he seemed surprised but said yes, snapped some good shots, and gratefully thanked me. :) We ended up passing each other a few other times as well as we were both following the little path along the bay.
