vera Thanks Hanna! The color was a dark green-blue. It was a raining day and the water on the pumpkin gave perhaps an aspect of gray? But it really was a dark green-blue.

Adam Urbaniak Good shot! I just googled it, as I couldnt believe they may be naturally blue, like cauliflower.
vera I'm not a specialist and can't say to you what sort of pumpkin. It was not to eat, only for decoration... So perhaps an hybrid sort between "Potiron musqué de Provence" and ...? It was a big one, around 40 cm diameter! :-)
