First of all, I'd like to thank You all one more time for Your kind words under yesterday's post. Really, it means a lot to me! :)
So, let's start my second year of tookapicing. Let's start it with a smile, even so unperfect like this.
My resolve for the first year of Tookapic (and whole year after 26th birthday) was to learn photo developing. Started with Lightroom, no Photoshop or any other programmes (except mobile ones) used. And even though I know I'm using a merely percent of it's possibilities, with practice I'm getting a bit better every day, after every developed photo... so I'm going to start exploring Ps.
I've mentioned before the "10.000 hours" theory for sure. A friend of mine (and Kalor's, who also does yoyo'ing), is a filmmaker and after World Yoyo Contest 2014 in Prague he made that video: youtube.com/watch?v=rdJtUrVVMY...
So, tookapic gives us the opportunity to our own 10.000 hours spent around photography. We are getting better not only just because we all are taking pictures daily. We're spending time watching good photos of other photographers. We're giving each other advice. Criticising, but in a constructive way.
All of that matters. It's a long way to the top (if You wanna rock and roll!), but a really lovely one.
After that 366 days I am sure Tookapic's community is, by far, the best, kindest and most supportive I've ever witnessed. The resolve of taking photos every day and uploading them every day for a year is a bit crazy, if You ask me. That positive way of crazy.
And so is sticking a cardboard to bathroom's window (in the inner circle of the first "6" You can see, that it wasn't perfect, lol) and putting a tripod into the bath just to shoot a long-exposure photo during the day ^^
Summing up:
Year one - finished, mission accomplished.
Second year - started.
Skills improving - in progress, all the time.
A little side-project - on the way.
And last night an idea for the third one came to me. An easy one, a calendar. Should I do it? ^^
Also, a lot of people ask me to write some tips and hints articles. I wanted to run a blog, but I kind of made Tookapic my daily blog... in English, which improves my writing skills. Is it? Can anyone tell me?
Since I know a lot about gear, speak a lot (I earn for the living with it! both of those!), I can try forging it into something useful to wider audience! I just need to know Your needs, but I think we'll go into "Talks" section with that.
Tomorrow is the big day. Keep Your fingers crossed, I won't duplicate last post's endings.

I feel the same, but just after 13 days. Never have I ever seen more positive and helpful online community! Glad to be here.
