Swirls

Another last minute run to the middle of nowhere to try to take advantage of clear skies. And another weird night with the weather. It was clear! And then suddenly I could see the clouds building. Noooooo! I said. But within 5 minutes half of the sky was solid cloud. That's where it got weird. What you can see in this image is as close as the cloud got to the Milky way. The other half of the sky was all cloud - but it only brushed against the Milky Way and went the other way.

20 minutes later it was all gone.

I've given this its title because the panorama makes the cloud look all swirly. :)
