Stars

The forecast was for clear skies, so I logged out from work an hour early and jumped on a bus. Well, sat at the bus stop because the bus was 15 minutes late. And then it started raining. Hard. But then the sky cleared once I got to the train station! But then it started raining again during the train trip. Hmmm. Got to Malmsbury and it was overcast. There was a rain squall showing on the radar extremely close to where I was. But after about an hour it cleared up for a few minutes. Literally, a few minutes. Then it was overcast again. It was cold, wet, my shoes had cracks in them so my feet were wet. My hands were cold because I forgot my gloves. But I was in one of my favourite places. No one else around. And those few minutes that I could see the stars it was beautiful. My happy place.
