Cross-lake swim

I've been planning to swim across the lake for years. Today was the day when all the elements fitted together perfectly: warm water, no wind, a partner to swim with (thanks Alexis), a boat to take us across the other side early morning (thanks Dave and @calb) and a paddle to follow us (thanks Mel).

And it was a wonderful as I had imagined.
