Today you waited for me to arrive home, knowing how unbearable it would have been for me not to able to say goodbye.

I remember the day you were born and I held you in my hand. Today I held you in my arms for the last time, affectionately watching you peacefully slip away.

You were always such a kind gentle cat, always ready to have a cuddle when I needed one, being there for me.

You were also very wise, much wiser than me. It was to you that I revealed my deepest feelings, and you who showed me how big my heart is.

Today you chose to leave. It’s the right time for you, and now I realize, the right time for me, freeing us from the earthly bond that held us together all these years. Thank you my faithful loving compagnon for your kindness, knowing what is right, and when.
