Not sure if anyone else is aware, but here in Canada we have a protest convoy going on. The goals are a bit muddled, protesting against Vaccine Mandates, Overthrowing the Canadian government, and removing all healthcare regulations.
To say this is polarizing is an understatement.
Today, while doing my shopping, I found these two notes in my cart. (The back of the bottom one says 'The End if CoviD TYRANNY'). And I'll be honest, it bothered me. It bothered me a lot.
The question of ethics comes from what I did with them. I tossed 'em in the trash. Should I have left them? Should I have ignored them?
In the end my thoughts are along the lines of this:
I have folk I care about in the healthcare field. They are all saying vaccines work and masks are effective... but only if people use them.
There are other ethics questions here:
Do I give voice to these folks by sharing their message (for any reason)? Is it appropriate to profit off something like this (profit here is in the form of likes)?
Also: Ya, I know... Cellphone Pic. Felt it was the right tool for the job this time.
Iwona- shadoke Mówisz o tym, ale to nie oznacza, że się z tym zgadzasz. Rozumiem dylematy!
