I had a nervous two days. My mother had a standard cataract surgery on Thursday. Unfortunately, there were complications during the procedure (the so-called posterior capsule ruptured). As a result, the procedure took much longer than planned. I will add that it was performed by a doctor who was novice in this specialization. I understand that everyone has to learn at some point, but it's a pity that such problems happen. The next day, my mother felt bad, so she went to the doctor, where it turned out that the pressure in the eyeball had increased. She was immediately sent to hospital for another procedure. This time it was vitrectomy - a surgical procedure to remove the vitreous humor, i.e. the jelly-gel structure that fills the inside of the eyeball. The whole procedure was short, but the stay in the hospital lasted from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. massacre. Fortunately, everything worked out and I feel better and better. Now everyone is waiting for their eyesight to improve. Today I went for a walk with Biga, and we saw what you can see in the attached picture. Snow, snow and more snow, there will be more rainfall at night, I will post an update tomorrow.
jazzie Something like this really shouldn't happen! Good to hear that your mum is doing better, and Biga seems to be back on track too? I remember she was sick a few weeks ago?
