a great surprise

We had planned to hike from Guarda to Ardez on our last holiday day. As we had enough time we decided to take the longer way and this longer way went uphill and was quite exhausting. We knew that this path was marked as a toboggan run on the map, but unfortunately we didn't have any toboggans with us. During the arduous ascent, I said to @perry16 that it would be nice if someone had put a few sledges at the top of the hill that you could hire - and ‘someone’ in the form of the municipality and the tourism association had obviously heard me, because there was a whole container full of sledges that could be hired on a trust basis and put back in a container at the bottom. It's great that something like this exists and that there are people who trust other people :-)
