Victoria (the state in Australia where I live) is largely on fire, thanks to some incredibly hot days and high winds, a low rainfall and dry summer.

Flying back from Newcastle last night, we flew over one of the smaller fires. Here is the photo I grabbed of it from roughly 32000ft (according to Flightradar24).
