Sunset at 40,000ft.

So, big day yesterday. After 3 hours of sleep, up at 6am to hand over the kitties to the people looking after them for a week. Then off to the airport for an 8 hour flight to Singapore.

During the flight, I had organised a window seat on the left because I knew we'd be flying during a sunset. I was also the only person in our section of the plane with their window shade up.

We had entered into a bank of cloud and all I could see was white. Then occasionally I was starting to see bits of orange here and there. Then suddenly the cloud around us cleared and the cloud below had exploded into bright orange. It was beautiful.

And I was pretty much the only one to see it.
