We lived

You know those movies with tornadoes, cyclones and shit? It looks pretty exciting. Well it looks exciting on the screen. It looks freaking scary when it comes right at you.

We had a whirlwind coming through our village today. This is the only photo I took today. Right after taking this pic we saw roofs, walls and windows spinning in the air above our neighbour's house.

It missed our house by 15-20 meters. We were very lucky. But we also got trapped. A tree that fell down broke the power lines and cut us off. We had to wait about 3 hours until firemen made sure the power is off and cut the powerlines.

We had a big part of someone's roof stopped by our cars parked in front of the house. If the cars weren't parked there we'd probably have had this roof stuck in one of our windows.

I have no idea when they get the power back up in our village. We temporarily moved to the city.
