I won! 

OK, this is not going to be a quick one. (just scroll down if you don't feel like reading)

"Głębia spojrzenia, contest vernissage" - we finally arrived. The cafe was already full when we got there, we were standing far from the scene and I couldn't see much through other peoples heads and lamps hanging from the ceiling. The organizers said that they have a little something for me when they called asking if I will be on the vernissage but as far as I knew it could have been a standard diploma for participation - let's not lie to ourselves, it usually is...

"Honorable mention goes to...", "The third place goes to...", "The second place..." - the speaker says not once ending the sentence with my name.

I won! First time since the mid-school I actually won something different than a game of football! I'm coming back from the stage with the biggest grin when the speaker says that they still have one prize left to hand. The grand prix, the prize for the best image in the contest. "The grand prix goes to..." - the speaker says looking at me while I try to restrain my smile and tame my shaking hands, still in shock after returning from the stage. She said my name again, she's wrong for sure, it couldn't be me, I've already been to the stage and recevied my award. Best picture in my category and best picture in the contest?! Am I dreaming or what?!

Well, I won twice this day. I know it's not as big as Mikołaj's prize tookapic.com/photos/354417 (congrats dude, you're totally killing it) but it was the best feeling since I heard in primary school that the girl I like actually thinks I'm handsome.

You probably know this feeling when you have zero motivation to go out and take today's photo because your previous three suck so bad?
