Magda Ko When I think about chaos theme this was in my mind to take busy crossing. Than I realize that nothing can beat Shibuya crossing next to station. I was sitting in Starbucks on the first floor and was looking at that crossing for an hour. I remember it from Lost in Translation by Sophia Coppola and Baraka by Ron Fricke. Love this place. Thank you Satoshi for this nice memory.

Satoshi T You are welcome, @magda .
When I took this pic, I thought about you and perhaps when you came to Japan, you saw here.

Hanna G amazing photo
perfectly set the depth of sharpness
cool tilt effect

Satoshi T Thank you Hanna, In the case of composition overlooking feeling that the house , car and people look smaller, this is very effectable.
If you try, from "Gdańsk-Wrzeszcz by night" 's position I recommend.

Hanna G thanks - of course I'll try
I'll try with lensbaby lens

Satoshi T I like your sense!
today, almost people(include me)use software effect.
Lensbaby is a little poor quality, but REAL optical tilt method :)

craig Love the effect and it is so fitting for the theme!

Satoshi T Thank you Craig , I like your association for thie theme using upside down.

Ron Dadoo very very nice effect ! I search for that software... which do you use?

Satoshi T Thank you Ron, in fact, I searched tilt effect soft quickly. Then I use Japanese software for windows.
tiltshift-studio.com
free version can handle jpeg. upside menu is open and save.
-when you save result file, you need to select different folder-
right side arrow is center position of focus.
under menu is strength or depth of each effect.
Perhaps an issue is language of this soft fixed to Japanese....

Ron Dadoo Thank's! I vista unfortunately and Mac...

Satoshi T I am user of Canon, but I heard that New model of Nikon have this effect in camera.

Satoshi T Great difference :)

Chris What do you shoot with?

Satoshi T I took from 3rd floor to get composition of Look down.
and I use telephoto lens to show people is gather.
at last, I use post process for tilt effect.
for this effect, it important (1)high camera position and (2)main objects gather center of picture :D

Chris Awesome: what model of camera do you have?

Satoshi T I am a Canon person.
I use EOS1Dmk3 for moving animals and birds, EOS50D for travel, walking and telephoto because of it is lightweight and small sensor. and EOS5Dmk2 for Tookapic project mainly because it is strong for night scene and wide angle.
Around 2009, spec of camera was almost match for my request, so I don't buy cameras any more.

bvphotosnap Beautifully composed image! Great work!

Satoshi T Thank you @bvphotosnap !
