Okay, if I don't upload this photo at 4:10 a.m., I'm not gonna be back to the streak in a long time. Priorities.
It's been a long day - I woke up at 7 a.m. completely rested, but decided to give myself another 50 minutes - then got up, got a shower, packed my stuff, received a package from the courier, ordered an uber and went to Tauron Arena aka tookapic.com/photos/326981 (or tookapic.com/photos/646278).
This time, there was no concert - FotoPlus.pl, my main competition for many years while working in Bonarka's store and one of the best (if not THE best) photography stores in Cracow, were organising a small photography fair - a smaller version of the Łódź fair, You might say, but still - in my city :)
Our stall was already up and running, since I got there like ten minutes before the event has started - the traffic jams were horrible - but I had had a really good time. Pictured above is our nice model, (instagram.com/adaginter), I had my favourite company, I fell really well in the company of our Olympus crew (and friends), but as well - in the whole photography business. And I'm beginning to recognise people, get a hug from Nikon scholar, a visit from another for some talks, duh! I even got huge compliments from a customer in front of Olympus Poland CEO ;-)
And I've met some really nice people visitng our stall - and handing people, who begin with "Mirrorless? No way, it's not for me, this electronic viewfinder, blah blah..." and E-M1 Mark II with 45/1.2 or 40-150/2.8 and seeing their jaws dropping with the results... yes, it's one of those moments I absolutely love about working with that particular gear. Ending up with 90+ min talks - oh hell yes.
Ending the first day at 6 p.m. was nice as well, so we could drive to my Oly friends apartment, from where I took off with my board just to get to Błonia, then - under Wisła Cracow stadium to my longboard crew, who is so much into dancing, than they don't even go pushing at Tuesday and rather prefer dancing all the time :D I drank some water, drove one lap around Błonia with Kalor, stayed there for about an hour and took off to Tytano complex, where our whole crew got over 30 minutes later than we agreed to (so I wasn't the last! :D). We went to CARGO, a typical meet-meet-more-meet restaurant in the complex and waited over and hour and a half for our food (although, the soup for two of our 7-person crew was ready after less than half hour).
We got visited by Martyna and Wafel, so Przemek laughed at me, than a dog starts when it's higher than Your knee, and Wafel does not meet that requirement - but I really didn't care, since he "looks like a million dollars" :D
And when we finally finished eating and moved to Weźże Krafta, there was only Martyna and Tymek left from longboard family - but it was my business meeting afterparty, so they went home after few minutes and I stayed with the crew, moved to the apartment with them (by my board, since why not) and after some time came back home by my board (as well) - so my personal result for today is about 23 km from 7 p.m. till coming home about 3:20a.m.
And I'm quite proud of it. Now let's take 2.5 hours ultra quick sleep, a shower and get back to work - I need to be at the second day of the photo-fair at 8:30.
