It's been a pleasure to follow your project! Congratulations - and I hope to see you again soon! Great "essay" too as you closely describe how I feel as well.
I've kept going, as I find Tookapic is a great motivator to actually keep picking up my camera instead of letting it gather dust in a corner. Tooka has become my daily touchstone to just stop - breathe- look around... getting off the unceasing treadmill of obligations for a few minutes to step outside of myself and look around to see the beauty in the world, and to try to capture it in my lens.
And yes, I'm just trying to convince you to come back sooner rather than later... ;)
Mikołaj Thank you so much! You're absolutely right, Tookapic is great as a motivator, encourages to try different things and can function as sort of a "photo playground". Just like books are dead when no one is reading them, photos aren't alive if they're not published and showing them to "tookafriends" is much different from posting on other social media sites. But lately, even if I could find time to take my photo-a-day, I've been too busy to scroll down the feed and see other people's pics (which is one of the main benefits of Tookapic). Since I started to work full time, need to get better at managing my free time and clean up my head a little bit, then I'm coming back! Good luck to you with your upcoming two-year milestone!
