My beginning here was quite strange. I've set up tookapic account 2 years before I've actually started the project (just to book my nickname in case I'll start really doing 365, what in general was planned ;-)). And I've started the project about 30 days before I've realized that I'm in fact doing it. Despite my beloved Canon 5d on this picture, my little sony camera was the trigger - I've just saw one day that every box in the calendar view is covered with photos. And I think it would be hard without it. Compact camera did the job, especially in times when not every smartphone produced decent photos.

When I look back on those (over) 3 years I can see how everything changed. Starting from tookapic itself (what's great, @Paweł, you've really done and still doing great job leading this website and community) to many things in my life. It's so great to have all those memories captured and I'm so grateful to myself that I've mostly wrote something about them. There were both hard moments and awesome one, I've visited many places, meet many people, done so many things... I'm not sure that I'd be able to list them without all those pictures.

And I think I like this in tookapic best - that I can get back to things that I don't have memorized in any other place. Of course in the beginning it was all about photography (and yes, my skills are better and my workflow evolved) but in the end I think that creating some version of my world, one of the kind diary is the best value I can get here.

And it's so nice to be here among all of you. Seeing how you evolve, how does your world look like. Thank you!
