The screen cracked. By itself. The camera wasn't used. It was taken on a plane as a carry-on baggage, in a bag. Just like you it's supposed to be travelling. The screen was cracked upon landing.
A mystery! No cracks or even scratches on the surface of the screen. It's the inner part that cracked. The screen is dead.
Well, I really hope it's not goodbye. I hope Olympus will be able to fix my good old E-M5. Never had an issue with their camera before.

vera Oh I'm sorry!
bistronomia Płacz i zgrzytanie zębów...
Lesley 🙁I hope it gets fixed. How disappointing.
Paweł Kadysz Not my primary camera at the moment, so that's an upside. But definitely my favorite one. Fingers crossed!
tigg Perhaps you will get a new one like Ian did?
Ian Prince Ouch, that's unfortunate. Here's hoping you have as good an experience with Olympus after-sales as I did with mine on "Warranty time"
P.s. I think it might because you had it set on i-AUTO ;)
Piotr Niezgoda A koło trybów ustawione na iAUTO? :)
Paweł Kadysz @Ian @Piotr I think you might both be right. It's been set to i-Auto for the first time and got so confused it imploded.
