No, I did not expect to see THIS tonight!

My aurora borealis app said that there was a very small chance of seeing northern lights tonight if you were in a dark place and on top of a mountain. We're sitting in a deep valley in the Swiss alps, in the middle of a village. But when I looked out of the window I saw a weak pinkish color on the sky and then took a pic with the iPhone first - definitely a northern light! So happy to have experienced this despite of the - in principle - bad prerequisites!
