Dutch photo meeting

Hi Everyone,

Yesterday I got a comment from a fellow dutch photographer @Robert. He suggested a Dutch photo meeting. I think it's a great opportunity to meat each other an take photos together, get inspired, do some discuss our projects, our approach to photography and in general have a good time.

I would love to hear suggestions on:

  • a city (we both live in the Utrecht/Amsterdam area);
  • a location (abandoned building, etc.)
  • time of day (morning, golden hour, night)
  • techniques that you would like to learn or perform or teach (General camera use, HDR, Flash, etc.)
  • just a photowalk or maybe some kind of (unpaid) workshop
  • maybe a theme in our common interest

So, who's in?

Robert de Bock Yes, I'm interested! I really like Utrecht. Street photography is pretty nice along the Oude Gracht.

I'd simply like to meet you all and do a photowalk.

Regards,

Robert de Bock.

Joost van Halm Great Robert, Lets go en do that. If we meet we can finally switch to Dutch! Any suggestions on time, day or date?

Robert de Bock I'm thinking of an evening, say Tuesday or Thursday?

Joost van Halm Hi Robert, excellent idea. There is an art project going on for some years now called Trajectum Lumen. That would be a nice start for a walk. There are some nice colorful objects like tunnels, etc. Most buildings like the Dom are also lit. Probably a good thing to bring a tripod.
Let's wait al little while and see if more members are willing to join-in.
