GDPR - new regulations (in Poland RODO)

In coming week new regulations regarding General Data Protection will take place in Poland (Europe?). As far as I have heard this also influence publishing peoples's image. Do you have some more information about it? What is allowed and what is not? How it is going to impact us taking street photography? Do we have any lawyer here?

Basia RODO applies to entrepreneurs processing personal data

Paweł Kadysz Yeah, that's why Instagram will let users download their all their photos. Tookapic lets you export all your photos since... long time ago.

Paweł Kadysz I will ask our lawyer about that. Thanks for bringing this up.

tigg I am heavily into drafting consents and policies for both church and the choir I sing with .... but had no thought that it could apply to the things I photograph
