Old and New

Senso-ji temple @ taito, Tokyo

This is Tower of Senso-ji Temple and Tokyo Sky Tree. Senso-ji Temple was heard to have started in A.D. 650 around. I am skeptical because too old. This red tower was destroyed in 1945, the bombing during WW2, it was rebuilt in 1973. Height 48m (157ft). White tower in the distance is Tokyo Sky Tree, which was built as a TV tower successor of Tokyo Tower in 2012. Height 634m (2080ft).
