Earnings?

I hope it's not too taboo to ask, but I'd be really interested to see photos that have been deemed worthy enough to pay for.

Jennifer I agree; it would be interesting to see for sure. How has the sale feature been working for people in general?

Jesse Lind I think it would be a great feature so that we can see what pictures people like, and maybe learn from them.

Paweł Kadysz tookapic isn't about making money on photo sales. It's about developing a habit of daily photo taking. It's about getting better at photography. It's about getting creative and being inspired by fellow amateur photographers. It's about creating memories.

If you're doing it mostly for money - you're probably in the wrong place. There are literally tens of websites that let you upload and sell photos. But you probably noticed tookapic isn't like the other websites for many reasons.

Sure, making couple of bucks on selling some of your photos is great and it definitely feels great when someone wants to pay for your photo. And if someone does - that's awesome! But it shouldn't be THE goal.

Right now there aren't any photos that made millions. There are some single sales of single photos. We're still struggling to get traction.

If you're really interested which photos sell here's 3 examples that will probably show you that there is no rule for what sells:
stock.tookapic.com/photos/2087...
stock.tookapic.com/photos/1981...
stock.tookapic.com/photos/8178

Lauri Elias Thanks for the thorough reply and I agree with what you've said. Since you've built the shop, I was simply interested if it works for someone and it's good to see it already does, even with <22k photos in the selection, compared to some sites that offer 50 million.
