Losing my streak
Well, after 223 days (once today's gets entered) I'm losing my streak. I haven't forgotten you guys though! I'm off to Africa and won't have internet or cell for 2 weeks. But don't worry, I'll still be taking daily pictures (probably hundreds) and will update my missed when I get home! Happy shooting to everyone.
Shenandoah I'll be in South Africa, a couple hours north of Johannesburg on a private game reserve doing volunteer work. I won't forget about my missed days! It just depends when I can wake up after nearly 24 hours of travel after I get home, and actually pull them off my cameras (3 coming along with me*) and figure out what I got! Haha.
* Sony HX50V for pocketable, Nikon P600 for telephoto reach, and Nikon D7000 for quality, with 18-105mm and 70-300mm lenses (no, not bringing my 600mm along - I can't afford the space on this trip. The P600 will have to suffice for that with it's 1440mm equivalent, I just have to sacrifice the image quality).

Shenandoah I wish we'd had rain. Severe drought, and record-setting heat. Still a great time though! Pics to come soon. Back in th U.S. but one more leg home. Then I think I need 3 days of sleep, lol. Over 1000 pics to sort through, not counting ones I've already deleted.
Bridget Braun Welcome (almost) home! Good luck sorting through the pics, I've been back from Europe for over a month and I still haven't finished editing my pics.
