Contest for free equipment and exposure
I haven't looked into this too much, but for some of you who are perhaps interested in getting your photos seen a little more, this website is apparently going to give $500 USD to 12 photographers from different cities and countries. It's a stock photo site, and I actually found one of my own photos on there, so you might too if you have some available for free! I don't know much about how it works, but it seems like it would be a great site to be a part of! It's very photographer friendly and has a great mission.

Some notes: it looks like you do need to support the site as well by donating 50 photos a month to be used as stock photos for 12 months. The application also requires some kind of portfolio as well as a short video to introduce yourself. Anyway, maybe one of you will win and get tookapic some exposure, too! ;D
