How can we positively enter the New Year or a new day? Perhaps a simple smile would be enough, either to ourselves in the mirror or to the person next to us. Smiling reduces stress, improves mood and immunity by releasing endorphins and reducing cortisol, strengthens relationships, builds self-confidence, improves concentration and memory, and can even help burn calories and is contagious, creating a positive atmosphere.
