My tookapic anniversary!

So today marks exactly a year since I stumbled upon tookapic (I don't even remember how anymore) and was SO excited to continue my photo-a-day project that I had trouble limiting myself to just one photo for that day. The funny thing is that I had already been doing the project for almost a year, but up until I found tookapic it wasn't really a passion. It was more of a neat little thing I could do and look back on. That changed really soon. Tookapic is so beautifully designed that I LOVE spending time on it. The community is so active and supportive and diverse that spending time scrolling through recent photos is one of my favorite new pastimes. I believe it's because of tookapic that I have found a new passion and hobby. I ♥ tookapic! Although I won't actually be done with my second year until another month or so in the future, this is an exciting and happy day for me. :)

Now, about the photo... each of those strips is a week. I made one for every day/week/month that I have been on tookapic. The background is a tiny tookapic logo that I hand drew and colored. This took hours, and you can barely even see it. But I love it anyway. ^.^ Also, this weekly theme of "numbers" could not have been better timed for me. :D
