The New T7i has been release but i'm not the kind of person that buys brand new stuff, so in a shoot out vs. quality vs. price point what do you think is a better Idea?
Mason Luce thanks so much
Kazzi but... I took a look at Your profile and You're using D5200 - why another system?
Mason Luce I am just getting into photographer I am a highschool student and just getting into photography I am selling some of my work at some coffee shops in my town. I got my 5200 last summer and I only have an 18-55 lens and don't want to invest in it to much beacuse I an thinking of switching to cannon because I do more video stuff and I really like the dual pixel AF instead of upgrading to a 7200 0r more expensive nikons.
Kazzi if You want to go further in filming, 760D (T6s) would be my choice... if we're sticking with Canon, since for same price You can buy Panasonic G7 with 12-60 lens, and it does Full HD 50/60p comparing to Full HD 30/25p with Canon. Oh, did I mention Panasonic's 4K?
Mason Luce Thanks so much for the advice its always nice to know that there is helpful people out there that are willing to spend time helping others solve there trivial problems.
Kazzi
what for you is a trivial question, for someone might be a reason for two weeks of hard thoughts, so never judge. :)
really, have a look at mirrorless cameras if You want to go video. They are worth it.

Kazzi T6s is 760D, right? For me 70D wins with it's bigger battery, viewfiner (pentaprism), overall handling, weather-sealing and AF micro-adjustments.
T6s is smaller and lighter, has a newer sensor (but it's not a really huge leap) and it's got much faster Dual Pixel AF, but You're buying a DSLR, so You're gonna be shooting through the viewfinder anyway (and if not, if You plan to use live view for shooting a lot, don't buy a DSLR :D).
760D is currently my favourite camera in Canon's amateur line-up (and 77D looks like 760D with two extra buttons - AF-on and wi-fi).
T7i(800D) on the other hand - got AF module from 760D, but except that it's still 750D with ONE extra button. And simplified menu with pictures. Oh, did I mention over 250$ higher price tag for both new arrivals?
It all depends on Your style, lenses and the lust to grow and go more into that passion, but since I love top LCD screens and a big DSLR is a big DLSR no matter 500 or 700grams, I'd go for 70D
(especially there's a great chance to buy it used for half the price, since it's over three years on the market already) or a new 760D (T6s).
Strongly recommended: go to closest cameras store, take both those models into your hands, "feel them". You won't make a mistake with buying any of those.
Hope I helped a little... :)
