Take over tookapic's social media accounts
I'm looking for someone to rock tookapic's Facebook & Twitter, because right now it sucks. The reason it sucks is because it's being run entirely by me.

I didn't mention our Instagram, because @Kazzi is doing an awesome job running it.

Magda Korzewska Big congrats to @Kazzi . To be honest I was surprised how it is happen that Paweł is posting on regular basis our great WT pictures. Now I know the reason :) Good job and great decision Paweł.
Kazzi By the way, since I'm going for vacations for the next 10 days, there might be some delays in updating our instagram - maybe somebody wants to take over for a week? :)

agnieszka bladzik btw. I noticed that Instagram and FB are focusing only on weekly themes photos recently, isn't it a bit unfair to authors of great photos that are not in the theme
Kazzi When I asked Paweł to take over tookapic (since it wasn't updated since September) account, I didn't feel like judging which photo deserves to be there - there are so many wonderful pictures uploaded daily - so I chose to narrow it down just to weekly themes and tried to keep it consistent. We don't synchronise with what Paweł chooses to promote on fb :) but I'm open for suggestions, we also can make some takeovers like with the little kakapo ;)
Aga Ka I understand what you are saying but at the same time it can be seen as a reward for the people who go that extra mile and commit to the themes :)
Kazzi yeah. if we split what gets promoted on insta (themes), fb (THE shots, that are so eye-catching, so awesome, that got into Paweł's eye), twitter (errr... anything else? :D) - it might work. when we promote same photo through every channel, people lose interest in following them all. Or am I wrong? :)
Magda Korzewska I agree. What I like about this approach is that someof pic I simply overlooked on tookapic as some of people have fewer followers and their pictures are not in popular section. Sometimes I simply forgot to have a look at the bottom of WT to discover more of pic. I found this approach very equal.
Kazzi Okay, I'm back from the vacation :) @agnieszka did awesome job during my absence, don't You think? I have 11 days on tookapic to catch up and ~1500 photos to choose from and zero (0!) free days until the end of this month, so I'm not too eager to take instagram back right about now. what do You say, Agnieszka?

agnieszka bladzik ok I can help with FB as well :) I'm going for holidays tomorrow so for now limited time, but from 1st of September can do full time

Daniel Zaleski I have totally missed this talk. As I do not have instagram (and do not plan to, I already too busy with other social networks), I will really appreciate fb posts. I think one of the first posts in September can be focused on the tookapic (super)heroes who saved tookapic for now and promoted hero program with their photos.
