First, I saw this photo tookapic.com/photos/524928 by the talented tookapic.com/urszula-stachowic... and was like: yay, thumbs up!

Then I was like: wish I had a T-Shirt like this! People always ask why I took (or want to take) a photo of them. This would be such a cool icebreaker.

Next I am in the Shop area, realizing the shirt is available, deciding on sizes.

Then I read the quip about "I wouldn't wear it at the airport. Some people, security in particular, might not get the joke."

And then I am like: just the airport? Would people around the US, where I live, get it? How much trouble and how quickly will I get in?

Am I being paranoid?

Do you like the shirt, and if so, would you wear it?

Do you own it, and have you ever been in any trouble because of it?

jewels I don't have it and certainly find it clever :-) However, being here on a photo journey in Nepal I was reminded of the "violence" (or the hunting character) of the photographic language, we "shoot" people, "take" or "steal" pictures... While it should all be about giving or creating images. Changing our vocabulary might make a change in how we see others and our photo subjects in particular. A bit philosophical I know, but this being said I still love the t-shirt and would definitely wear it!

ponzu Well, if I had any doubts about it, I certainly don't feel like getting the shirt now. My other group had a strong negative reaction to it, and then Las Vegas happened. In the US in particular, a shirt like this will not play out well, I am now almost convinced of it.

FlyteWizard As cute as the shirt is, I wouldn't purchase it or wear it.

I live in a world with violence, and I wouldn't want to offend anyone or be confronted.

agnieszka bladzik I think it might be 'to much' also I found it similar to Jared Polin t-shirt 'I shoot RAW' tubefilter.com/wp-content/uplo...

Aga Ka To be honest, I do not own that t-shirt yet. But I will, when I come back to the project, and after enough photo's. I will reward myself with a t-shirt and this will be probably the first one I will own. It's funny, it's clever, I'ts just a ....joke. If someone feels ofended it is up to that person to ask me what I mean by that shirt. I think it is not up to me to try not to offend people. Simply because it is not.... possible. The thing is, that what is offensive to you might not be offensive to me and what is offensive to me might not be offensive to you. I do not read peopl's mind and I don't know what is offensive to whom. neither people who don't know me can say what would offend me. If we start to be carefull not to insult people, soon we cannot say anything. Don't get me wrong, we should not aim to insult people, but censoring ourselves just incase someone might not like what we have to say is not the way to go. That is just my opinion. And yes, it is terrible what happened in Las Vegas, but my question is.... are we going to ban t-shirts with cars on it? or even...are we going to ban cars? that is just my two cents. :)
