365 Project was the best & worst thing for my photography

How a 365 Project was the Best & Worst Thing for my Photography
My 365-day project last year broke me down and brought me back up.

Thoughts on the 365 project by Julius Motal. He had the exact same rules as I had on my first 365 project so I thought it's worth sharing.

Ian Prince Interesting insight and well written, and echoes some of the torment I sometimes go through, lol. Probably best to not show it to anyone who wants to start a 365 project :)

And yes, the streak rule rules!

Thanks for sharing @Paweł

Jagoda Pucilowska very honest statement

Kyle Kokotajlo I can really emphasize with this as I near the end of my project, I find myself struggling with forced composition and subject matter... just burned out. Also the main reason to do a 365 should be to help improve your skills as a photographer but it is hard not to want to be seen and recognized even just as a hobby/non-professional photographer.

tigg I think I may be missing the point of these projects. In fact, I don't see them as a project, merely a vehicle to post a photograph every day, a photo that brings back a memory to me, or makes me smile. Full stop - no more than that. I agree that I strive to post a photo that reaches my benchmark, but it is my benchmark, not anyone else's. Comments and likes are a bonus. I'm coming up to four consecutive years of Blipfoto, and I'm doing this one as well as I wanted to have an opportunity to post more than one photo.
You may think, is this persons life so empty? Well no; maybe it is because my life is so blessed and I have so many photographic opportunities in my everyday life that I want to do these photo journals. To my standard; not anyone else's . Having said that .... do please peep at my journal if you wish!
