Looking back on a (photographic) year here on tookapic is beautiful and less overstraining than looking on the ten thousands of pics in lightroom.
"cold night on the top"
It is a daily routine, sometimes a 'must', but most of the time I like to. Anyway more enjoyable than the other routine of brushing my teeth 😬
It makes me walk through my life with open eyes, even at very normal places like my everyday-commuting-bus-station "Chaos?"
There is this nice community. Even though I have to admit that I don't 'feel' this anymore so strongly. 2-3 years ago I felt more like in a group of virtual friends.
It helps in such strange times as the pandemic. The crazy ideas (like pandemic oven and baking my camera), giving my project away into Pulpos hands (of course I was Pulpo. Actually I was not motivated to take 'my' pics, and in a strange way it helped me to be somebody 'different' here for a few weeks, I was more motivated to play the role of Pulpo, make new friends and really had fun!)
It makes me try new photographing and postprocessing stuff and ideas, such as the use of the filters I do use recently.
It encouraged my to show myself in front of the camera sometimes. Not too serious...
I am just addicted. Something would be missing in my life without Tookapic. So, see you tomorrow!
