Hi! What's your favorite old MF lens? I mean lenses that we use to this day, combining them with modern bodies. I recently read an interesting article about using old lenses (eg. M42, Konica Hexanon AR) with mirrorless cameras. Article only in polish, but if someone want to read: spidersweb.pl/2013/11/jaki-man...

Gogi Golzman i'm a big fan of 50mm lenses so i guess
the Leica Summarit 50 1.5 =]

Paweł Kadysz The ones I got. Recently the old Canon FD 50mm f/1.4. But I also have 28mm f/2.8 from Vivitar, which I also really really like.

Abderrahim I agree, declic aperture ring and great colors/contrast :).

Paweł Kadysz I just ordered a 35mm f/1.7 Fujian, just for fun.

Damian Jankowiak Where you bought? From China directly, Allegro, eBay? I also plan to.

Paweł Kadysz Got it brand new from Allegro with MFT adapter included for 130 pln ($30). It should arrive on Friday.

Gogi Golzman pawel .. do you know what adapter is for canon full frames ?

Satoshi T Hi Gogi ,Because Canon has a long flange back, even if there is an adapter, the focus may not adjust at infinity. Macro is probably usable :)

Paweł Kadysz From what I know this lens will only work with mirrorless cameras.

Maksym Rudek @Paweł I've just ordered mine Fujian for Olympus. Can't wait to see your results :D

Kamila Pawel, I've just started using this lens, and I noticed that my picture is sharp only when the object is very close, when it's far the whole picture is out of focus, is it correct? I'm watching test of Fujijan on YT and I think it shouldn't work like that....the lens is new, bought on allegro, this is the first manual I have, and I feel very confused...

agnieszka bladzik and i got this week 35/1.6 Fujian - aliexpres ~20$

Paweł Kadysz There are two possibilities:
1. I'm 99% sure this is not the case, but I will ask, just to be 100% sure. This is a manual lens, therefore you need to manually focus.
2. The adapter comes with a macro extender - it's a small ring attached to the adapter (on the side of the lens, not the side of the camera). It's usually screwed tight so it seems like it shouldn't be removed. But it should if you don't want to shoot macro.

Kamila Thanks for help! I removed macro extender, and now everything works great, and I really love this lens!

Marcin N Woźniak Nikon E 50mm f/1.8 - supersharp 35 years old lens :)

Aleksander Dębowski I love my Jupiter 11 135 mm f/4.

Viola Kuniej I have pentacon m42 2.8/135, revuenon m42 2.8/35 and my favorite - canon fd 4.0/80-200... but it's hard to use it when I'm taking a picture of my very speed baby hahaha

Michał If you think you have a lot of vintage lens, just have a look at this guy youtu.be/JL7iq4I6xUQ :)
From my humble collection I prefer using SMC "Takumar" 50mm f/1.4. Very sharp images and natural bokeh. Also as per recommendation from @Paweł I've ordered "юпитер 37A" (Jupiter 37A 135mm f/3.5) which is quite long on APS-C but so far I like pictures it creates.
