Paweł Kadysz Our userbase grew by 15% during last week. January 2017 is already the best month ever. If we keep the pace, we would reach 250K days captured by the end of February.
But it probably won't happen, because 365 project resolution made on January 1st is very similar to "I'll get fit and go to the gym 3 times a week" resolution :P Very few actually commit.
That said, I really hope we'll grow much more in 2017 and finally become profitable so I can eat again...

Kazzi Paweł, tookapic is just for the strongest ;) but commenting and motivating is something we can do to help. I had my bad moments in the beginning, most bad photos were taken during my first month - but among them, there were also some I love even now. Is there a section where we can find people with two or three days streak break to keep them motivated? :>

Daniel Zaleski I restarted my project again after a long (painful) break and in order to be more comitted I also decided to contribute and become one of the paying / supporting members. I already wished to do so last year, but it became obvious that I will have to leave some activities. I wish all the tookapicers (new and older as well) much inspiration and dedication. I am fully convinced that the project is a great source of inspiration (community and photos of other users are simply great) and experience for the new photographers; it also forces longterm photogs to learn something new and step out into the discomfort zone.

Kazzi man, I've said same words almost one year ago. Let's see what You will say after 359 days! For about a month I'm not ashamed any more, saying "I am a photographer" - still far from creating "name_surname_photography" fanpage ;)
Kazzi edit: I took a look at Your photos and I retreat from my last sentence. If taking photos like that goes in pair with Your "I'm not much of a photographer", then what should I say? WOAH!

Rob I think a good idea to keep motivated would be to see a calendar with thumbnails of images on each day the pic was taken. It would be a mini goal to fill the entire month's worth of boxes/days on the calendar. I know I certainly wouldn't want to have any "blank" gaps visible.
Oh, and I just joined too; loving it so far. Even if it's keeping me from the gym :)
