Time to say goodbye
I've just cancelled my subscription, which is valid till 29th of November. I know it's a bit in the middle of my year, but that how it was with starting paid subscription. I was preparing to this step since some time, I think even earlier than I've realized it. The issues with the tookapic future and current situation here just make it all easier.
I have a small feeling of betrayal, but going "on my own" is a step that I need in my overall personal development right now. I have multiple instagram profiles, webpages and facebook pages that are a bit abandoned. I'd be deeply touched if you find me somewhere in the internet (IG marta_najeli, FB najeli.fotografia) and keep in touch.
Those years here were great and I'm really grateful that I could join this community. I keep finger crossed for all of your projects and for this place in general.

Just another question : am I to understand that if I cancel my subscription that goes on to 08.12.21 (date when I have to pay again) I will still have full access to tookapic up until then (8th December) ?

już kilka razy chciałam odejść z tookapic i jakoś tak wracałam i wracałam.
A teraz nie bardzo wiem co dalej - tookapic narzuca/narzucał pewien rytm, przymus i to skutkowało "mobilizacją" chociaż to jaki teraz jest tookapic jakoś mnie nie mobilizuje
ale może wytrwam do końca

Sorry to see you go Marta. I guess it is only a matter of time until we all go. I do not post on IG but do have an account so will follow your adventures. I will continue here until it closes but also have a blipfoto account and a project which has been running for 10 years now. I am also using Flickr to document the activity with the Heron so will be busy.

Today I've finished fifth year of 365. And of course tookapic is the first thing I can thing about in such moment :)
I'm still stay on my own temporary site: ultramarta.pl/daily/20220706 - hope that google translate won't make fools out of me, as I'm writing in polish for my mum being able to read that ;-)
PS. It's funny that's over a half a year till I've ended my subscription and I'm still in top contributors :D

I'll probably be doing the same soon... been meaning to do it for a few months now... but I can't.
Things here are slowing down and I can see that some people have already left.
I've loved being on Tookapic and have just ordered my album for the very first year here. My photos were awful and I can definitely see the progress now that I'm on year six.
I've got an album for each year and will have to do the same for the sixth incomplete year.
Here is where I learned photography !
I will never thank Pawel enough for that !!
