active users
Just if you wonder too... I made a list of the users who did post at least one photo since the beginning of march. If I've not forgotten anybody, we're 63 users at the moment, but 6 of them might have stopped (or not really started) their projects.

Magda Korzewska My first trip since 2016 I will not upload pictures on Tookapic. Feeling strange. I decided to cancel my subscription already a couple months ago. Can you give me one good reason I should renew subscription? (apart of keeping mt travel photo in one gallery? )

tookapic We have returning users, we have new users and we have leaving users as well 😜
As some of us upload pictures once a week or less not so easy to observate it. Number of uploaded photos on weekly basys is more or less stable with slightly possitive trend.
What is realy nice to see 4 new users uploading everyday @kazikowo @Natho @grzechu @m71 hope you will stay longer. Good to see people comming back after a while as well.

jazzie I tried to count once again. it's about 61 active users (how to define active... some people upload once a week or once a month ;-) ). It is nice to see that we have relatively many users who seem to be returning
tigg Keep thinking I will stop as I just do not have time to look at other journals. But it is a hard habit to break. And, it seems, quite a select little group.
tookapic Yes it’s a pity seeing that some people stop uploading on daily basis. I hope some of those you mentioned will be back. @zlasu are back every 2 week. #swissgang need to convince @jewels to come back. Now we have @Manon back. @m71 was uploading on daily basis and now is quiet.
We have many new users with 10-30 days of projects which need some support from us as well. Also other users are back as @Aneczka @jkrym @div @radzikmr or earlier Michael Gatton, Seth, Andrew, Justyna Bem. Sorry If I missed someone, It is good to look not only on „following” page also for „recent” to see new/old people coming back.

Jazzie, I'm basically repeating myself, but I'll write it again. Nothing will change for several reasons
1): - the service is definitely too expensive. Almost PLN 30, which is as much as basic Netflix, no support, no development, no future, forgotten place.
2) A brilliant but unfortunately hermetic environment of people. Basically, everything revolves around the oldest users who know each other. In my opinion, newbies get frustrated quickly.
3) No advertising whatsoever, no incentive for old users to catch new ones.
4) And finally, but not least, there is simply no one who would lead it with heart.
Estimated income of this service, something about 1500-1800 pln, I don’t understand new owner policy.
Rafal I was one of the old users for many years when Paweł Kadysz was the admin and it worked very well...I have met so many people with their talents for photography, I did four round and stopped...I see that this site stopped evolving...I was thinking few times about my comeback...but there is nothing new and fresh in this place....still nice people left in this community...some are familiar to me...but with any refreshment and revolution it will soon disappear...so sad...but right now people needs fast times...reels...instagram...etc...no advertisement will kill this place,...I think that many of you stayed here due to the sentiment to this place and makes their own galleries instead the other places....

I don't know why I chose tookapic...is a lot of similar 365 projects :(
Without activities on FB and instagram will be hard to find new users... :(

I counted again because I realised that some users uploaded since wednesday. at least 84 active.
AND actually we have more than 10% of users who started around the beginning of 2024 and are still here and some more who started recently and still some that came back. I fear this list is incomplete, but please contribute if you know about others so we can maybe be especially encourage them to stay :-)
